In the quiet city of Elkhart, Indiana, a concerned friend made a discovery that would unravel a mystery that lingers to this day. On April 22, 2000, after being unable to reach him, the friend went to the home of 56-year-old John Cawley, a local attorney. Inside the residence at 2002 Raintree, a grim scene awaited; Cawley was found deceased on the floor of his bedroom. The man was a White male.
