In the late summer of 2014, the life of Cordale D. Williams, a 27-year-old African-American man, was tragically cut short in an act of violence that remains unresolved. On the evening of August 29, 2014, Williams was a passenger in a vehicle on the northeast side of Indianapolis, in the 9300 block of East 44th Street, when he was shot. The driver of the vehicle was unharmed in the attack.
