Sergeant William Rollin Brand, aged 39, tragically lost his life on February 8, 2005, in Monroe County, Indiana. Sergeant Brand was a dedicated officer with the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, having served for eight years. On the night of his death, he was driving home from his shift at the Monroe County Correctional Center in Bloomington.
