On May 10, 2005, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael Wilson visited his pregnant girlfriend, Patrice Cushenberry, at her apartment complex. During their interaction, a passerby named Demetrius Nance intervened, urging Wilson not to be aggressive towards Cushenberry. This comment led to a confrontation between Wilson and Nance. Subsequently, Wilson was convicted in connection with this incident.
