In the quiet, early morning hours in the small town of Swayzee, Indiana, a tragic event shattered the peace on August 7, 2009. Heidi M. McKinney, a 40-year-old woman, was found dead in a home where she had spent the night. The residence, not her own, became the scene of a horrifying double murder-suicide. Alongside Heidi, another man, 30-year-old Shannon Michael Lowe, was also discovered.
