In the spring of 2013, the life of 20-year-old Reginald Hill Jr. was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire that erupted near the Lafayette Square Mall on the northwest side of Indianapolis. On the evening of Thursday, April 4, 2013, police responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Hill in a parking lot, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
