In the late hours of a Saturday, the life of 22-year-old David A. Homola was tragically cut short in Hammond, Indiana. On March 8, 2014, Homola, a male resident of the 7000 block of Magoun Avenue, was found with a gunshot wound to the chest. The Lake County Coroner's office was called to the scene in the early morning hours the following day, where Homola was pronounced dead. His death was officially ruled a homicide.
