In the early morning hours of October 5, 2014, what should have been a joyous celebration of a new marriage turned into a scene of unimaginable tragedy in Terre Haute, Indiana. Kelly Ann Arney Samson, a 50-year-old female registered nurse, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds in her home, just hours after her wedding. The idyllic start to her new life was shattered in a violent act that ended not only her life but also that of her new husband.
