In a tragic turn of events on March 5, 2018, 40-year-old Amanda Jean Kerns, a White female from Terre Haute, Indiana, was fatally shot in her home. The incident, which also left a man named Ronald Lawrence critically injured, unfolded in the 2100 block of Putnam Street and stemmed from a domestic dispute. Kerns, a mother and grandmother, was remembered by her loved ones as a loving individual.
