Valentina "Tina" Delva, an 18-year-old Indiana State University (ISU) student from Indianapolis, tragically lost her life in a shooting on September 18, 2020, in Terre Haute, Indiana. Delva was attending an off-campus party near South 6th and Poplar streets when the incident occurred. According to reports, she was the front-seat passenger in a car leaving the party when she was struck by a bullet between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
