Nell Freeman Gladney, aged 58, was found dead on November 12, 2014, in the backyard of her home on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a call at approximately 7:50 a.m. from a neighbor who discovered her body. Initial reports indicated that neighbors heard possible gunshots around 4 a.m., but no one called 911 at the time.
