Gerald Walter "Piggy" Darden, aged 49, tragically lost his life on June 14, 2015, in Indianapolis, Indiana. On that fateful morning, police responded to a shots fired call around 6:05 a.m. in the 1300 block of West 27th Street. Upon arrival, they found Darden suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, having been shot twice in the back and twice in the arm. He was immediately transported to Eskenazi Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
