Dorian Murrell, an 18-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life in the early hours of May 31, 2020. Murrell was shot and killed in downtown Indianapolis during a period of civil unrest following the police killing of George Floyd. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. near Market and Pennsylvania streets. Murrell was transported to Eskenazi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from a single gunshot wound to the heart.
