On January 28, 2019, 26-year-old Bryant A. "Cheese" Edmondson, Sr., was found deceased from a gunshot wound at the Pangea Prairies Apartments, located at 4500 Jamestown Court on Indianapolis's northeast side. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to the scene around 1 p.m., discovering Edmondson's body.
