In the summer of 2015, a tragedy unfolded in Lafayette, Indiana, that cut short the life of 36-year-old Aaron Tyrone Hunter Jr. On August 4th, Hunter and another man, 46-year-old Terry L. Smith Jr., were found dead in a home on Perrin Avenue, both having suffered from gunshot wounds. The incident was quickly ruled a double homicide, prompting an investigation by the Lafayette Police Department.
