DahReus M. Howard, a 24-year-old Black male and lifelong resident of Michigan City, Indiana, became the victim of a violent tragedy in the early autumn of 2015. Born on September 6, 1991, he was known to his friends and family as "Dahr" and had graduated from Michigan City High School. His life was cut short on September 21, 2015, when he suffered fatal injuries in an incident involving gun violence.
