Brian C. Nelson, aged 36, was found shot to death on September 21, 2015, in Richmond, Indiana. The tragic incident occurred at the home of his cousin, Ryan Richardson. According to the investigation, the events leading up to the shooting involved a night of drinking among Brian Nelson, his cousin Velis S. Nelson, and a friend of Richardson's.
