On the night of October 20, 2015, Richard Noel Jr., a 25-year-old Black male, was fatally shot at his residence in the 3400 block of Arthington Boulevard in Indianapolis, Indiana. Reports indicate that someone knocked on his door, and when Noel answered, he was met with gunfire. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene and discovered Noel with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
