In the late hours of a Saturday night in Gary, Indiana, tragedy struck 25-year-old Mynisha Brown. On November 28, 2015, police responded to a call at 11:55 p.m. in the 900 block of East 19th Avenue where they discovered that two women had been shot. Both victims were transported to Methodist Hospital-Northlake for medical attention.
Mynisha Brown, a resident of the 2200 block of Harrison Street in Gary, succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, November 29
