Maurice Heyward, aged 38, tragically lost his life on February 13, 2016, in Evansville, Indiana. Heyward was fatally shot outside the Lucky Lady Lounge, a strip club on North Main Street where he worked as a security guard. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. when Heyward was confronted in the parking lot and shot once in the torso. He succumbed to his injuries later that morning.
