Carl Rice Jr., a 31-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically shot and killed on May 23, 2016. The incident occurred at a house on Bankers Lane near Washington Street. According to reports, Rice was involved in a physical altercation with Robert Curry, who was 27 years old at the time. Curry, along with his brother and two women, Alexis Cole and Mariah Echols, went to Rice's apartment after overhearing a disturbance between Rice and Curry's sister.
