In the late afternoon of a Monday in Fort Wayne, Indiana, tragedy struck Jamarkis Javon Carter, a 40-year-old man known to many by his nickname, 'Chummy'. On September 26, 2016, police were dispatched to the 4400 block of Warsaw Street at approximately 4:48 p.m. There, in a driveway, they discovered Carter suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries upon arrival.
