In the early morning hours of October 6, 2016, a sense of unease settled over a home on Meadow Lane in South Bend, Indiana. What was planned as a robbery would soon escalate into a tragedy that would claim the life of 20-year-old Tyler Hurtle. The young man, a tow truck driver and mechanic known for his kind heart and mischievous smile, found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, walking into a situation that would abruptly end his life.
