Death by Force

Martel "Chicago" Thomas, aged 34, was found dead on May 7, 2017, in an alley on the near-east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. His body was discovered by a woman waiting for a bus around 8 a.m. in the area of 10th Street and Rural Street. Thomas had been shot, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD). The police believe the shooting might be connected to a "shots fired" call they received nearby just after 5:30 a.m. on the same day.
