Damon Young, a 39-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on May 30, 2017. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:30 a.m., near the intersection of Clifton Street and Congress Avenue. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots and promptly called 911. Upon arrival, police officers found Young suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was immediately transported to Eskenazi Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
