In the summer of 2016, a season marked by a troubling spike in violence in Indianapolis, 24-year-old Devon Grice, a male, became one of the city's tragic statistics. On the afternoon of July 28th, at approximately 1:50 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of the 1100 block of Sharon Avenue on the city's west side.
