On a summer evening in Indianapolis, Indiana, tragedy struck a family and a community. Shawn Goliday, a 17-year-old male, was fatally wounded on June 8, 2018. The incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. outside the Wyckford Court Apartments. Goliday, a student at Pike High School, was remembered by his mother as a 'gentle giant' with soft features and big brown eyes. He came from a large and loving family, with two brothers and seven sisters.
