On July 28, 2018, 29-year-old Dorian L. Davis was found unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds on the east side of Indianapolis, specifically in the 2800 block of Caroline Avenue. Authorities responded to a call reporting the discovery of his body, and upon arrival, they initiated a homicide investigation.
