In the late summer of 2024, the life of Jason Christopher Lamont Clark, a man known affectionately as Jason or Jay, was tragically cut short on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. A Black/African American male, he was 49 years old at the time of his death on Saturday, September 7, 2024. His passing was the result of a violent encounter that also claimed the life of another man, 41-year-old Gary A. Reed, in what police described as a double shooting.
