Julius James IV, a 24-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on February 11, 2019. He was the great-grandson of a prominent pastor and civil rights activist, Rev. Julius James, who had a notable friendship with Martin Luther King Jr. On the day of his death, Gary police responded to a call of shots fired in the 2300 block of Clark Road.
