Sean Baker, a 25-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, was tragically shot and killed on October 30, 2019. The incident occurred around 8:10 p.m. in the 7000 block of East 5th Avenue. According to the Lake County coroner’s office, Baker was pronounced dead at approximately 11:10 p.m. at Methodist Hospital in Northlake. An autopsy confirmed that Baker died from a gunshot wound, and his death was ruled a homicide.
