In the late afternoon of a November Sunday in Flat Rock, Indiana, a domestic turmoil reached a tragic and irreversible conclusion, ending the life of 24-year-old Dominick Michael Eugene Nick Drake. On November 24, 2019, the Shelby County Sheriff's Department received a 911 call that would unravel a story of family strife and violence. The caller was 72-year-old Ricky Drake, who reported that his adoptive son, Dominick, was 'out of control.'
