Leo Agrue, a 23-year-old resident of Aurora, Indiana, tragically lost his life on May 16, 1941, in a horrific mass murder that shocked the local community. Leo was one of five victims in a brutal shooting carried out by Virginius "Dink" Carter. The incident took place on the Agrue family farm, where Carter, driven by a deep-seated grudge, used a shotgun to kill Leo, his parents Johnson and Nina Agrue, his brother Will, and his niece Mary Breeden.
