Johnson Wheeler Agrue, aged 59, tragically lost his life on May 16, 1941, in Aurora, Indiana. Agrue, along with his wife Nina, their sons Leo and William, and their granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Breeden, were victims of a brutal mass murder on their farm. The perpetrator, Virginius "Dink" Carter, was the son-in-law of Johnson Agrue.
