Death by Force

Jeremiah Simon, an 18-year-old resident of Merrillville, Indiana, tragically lost his life on January 15, 2020. He was fatally shot while walking in the 500 block of East 54th Court in Merrillville. The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m., and authorities were called to the scene where they found Simon with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at approximately 4:05 a.m. by the Lake County coroner's office.
