Eric Whitfield, a 31-year-old man from Indianapolis, Indiana, was found fatally shot in a west-side alley on the night of April 27, 2020. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), officers discovered Whitfield inside a truck with apparent gunshot wounds shortly after 11 p.m. in the 1500 block of Herschell Avenue, near Riverside Park.
