Angela Summers, a 45-year-old United States Postal Service mail carrier, was shot and killed on her route in an east Indianapolis neighborhood on April 27, 2020. A mother to a 14-year-old daughter, Summers was a dedicated employee who had been with the postal service for less than two years and also served as a union steward.
