Phillip Phillips, a 21-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on May 19, 2020. The incident occurred during a possible robbery, as reported by the authorities. On that fateful day, officers responded to a shooting at approximately 11:38 a.m. in the 1300 block of Grant Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Phillip Phillips and another male with gunshot wounds. Both individuals were pronounced dead around 12:40 p.m. by the Lake County coroner’s office.
