In the late hours of a summer evening in Indianapolis, tragedy befell 33-year-old John William Davis Jr. On September 1, 2020, he was found shot to death at the Beechwood Gardens apartment complex on the city's east side, a place that had unfortunately become known for violence. Davis, a male, was a father to a teenage son and was known by his loved ones as a caring person with a memorable laugh who enjoyed writing music and cooking.
