On the evening of October 2, 2020, Antione Allen, a 48-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in Gary, Indiana. The incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. in the 700 block of Delaware Street. Allen was a passenger in a vehicle, being dropped off by a female companion, when the sound of multiple gunshots suddenly pierced the evening air.
