Alana Serio, aged 59, tragically lost her life on January 9, 2021, in Brownsburg, Indiana. The incident was reported as a murder-suicide involving her son, Steven Serio, aged 25. According to the Brownsburg Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Columbia Circle around 8 p.m. on the evening of the incident following a report of a person being shot.
