In the quiet town of Brownsburg, Indiana, a tragedy unfolded that cut short the life of 59-year-old Alana Serio. On the evening of Saturday, January 9, 2021, police were called to the Brownsburg Pointe apartments in the 1000 block of Columbia Circle after reports of gunfire. Inside one of the apartments, they discovered a grim scene. Alana Serio and her 25-year-old son, Steven Serio, were both found with gunshot wounds.
