In the summer of 2017, the life of 47-year-old Donita Elliott was brought to a tragic end in her Lafayette, Indiana, home. On August 8, 2017, she died from a gunshot wound inflicted by her husband, Patrick Elliott, in what was initially portrayed as an act of self-defense but was later revealed to be a calculated murder.
