On the evening of August 24, 2017, tragedy struck in the 3300 block of Station Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. Timothy Berkell Dennis, a 38-year-old Black male, was found suffering from a fatal gunshot wound around 6:00 p.m. First responders arrived at the scene, but despite their efforts, the events of that late summer day resulted in the loss of his life.
