In the winter of 2021, a quiet street on the near east side of Indianapolis became the scene of a somber discovery. On the morning of Saturday, December 11, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 2900 block of Brookside Avenue. Inside, they found 44-year-old Tuan Anh Nguyen, a male resident of Westfield, unresponsive and bearing signs of apparent trauma.
