In the winter of 2021, the life of 21-year-old Sara Ivy-June Gilbert was tragically cut short in her Bloomington, Indiana, apartment. On December 22, friends of the young woman, unable to reach her, went to check on her at her residence on Rolling Ridge Way. What they discovered was a scene of profound loss; both Sara and 22-year-old Cameron Black were found deceased, each having sustained gunshot wounds.
