In the early morning hours of Christmas Day, a life was tragically cut short in East Chicago, Indiana. Eric R. Douglas, a 32-year-old male, was found deceased outside of Ralo's Bar located at 3948 Alder Street. The incident, which occurred around 1:46 a.m. on December 25, 2021, is being investigated as a homicide. Responding officers discovered Mr. Douglas lying face down, having been shot in the head in what has been described as an execution-style killing.
