On a winter morning in Indianapolis, a welfare check requested by concerned family members led to a tragic discovery. On January 7, 2022, police entered a residence in the 6100 block of Nelson Place to find the bodies of 29-year-old Latia Scott and 30-year-old Dewayne Autman. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
