Derrick Mooney Jr., aged 29, tragically lost his life on January 7, 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred on the city's east side, where Mooney was found shot inside a Chevrolet Malibu. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), officers responded to a call around 10:42 p.m. on January 7th, where they discovered Mooney with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
