On the morning of April 24, 2022, a violent double homicide occurred in the 4000 block of Stratford Court on the far east side of Indianapolis. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the residential area around 6:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a person shot. Upon arrival at the scene, first responders discovered two individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
