Martez Roberts, a 38-year-old man from Benton Harbor, Michigan, was reported missing on June 10, 2022. His body was discovered on June 18, 2022, in a remote area near the Tippecanoe River in Marshall County, Indiana. The Marshall County Sheriff's Office identified Roberts as the victim after an autopsy confirmed he had died from multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation into his death was immediately classified as a homicide.
